The tradition of giving a gift on each
of the twelve days is pretty much gone. However, in some families,
that tradition persists in a simplified form. One Christmas, recently,
I made 15-minute crayon-and-ink sketches on 12 lunch bags for my granddaughter.
It was tubs of fun for the youngster, her teacher and classmates, and me.
