Comments:
   - wounded turtle was rescued and nursed by friends
   - apparent gig or bullet hole on left posterior carapace
   - turtle layed one egg on surface gravel in recovery cage
   - turtle released following day
   - egg placed in incubator in effort to save it
   - update to follow
